Low temp thermostat

Think my thermostat has seen better days. Looking to replace with a low temp one from pms, car is only used for track so just wanted to know weather to stick an genuine thermostat in or go with the low temp one?

Did you get problems with overheating with the standard thermostat?
Mine never goes above the normal temp no matter how hard I thrash it on track so can't see any reason to fit a low temp stat to be honest.
