Are you talking about the sides of the lower dash that are each side of the radio/heater controls etc?
I think they are just meant to be fixed in place from the factory. Unless someone has pulled on them and knackered the plastic fixing. Your best bet would be to fix them back on with something (bonding agent, gorilla glue etc.)
here’s a pic of mine after today.
Bonded in place and held in place with the red duster things while it set.
If you’re talking about the gearstick surround area, it should fix in with two clips under the dash and one clip just in front of the gear stick, in line with the front of the seats. I’ve circled them below for you
Hopefully this helps you mate. The rattling was drive me mad today, so I feel your pain.
Thanks mate that’s mega helpful as it was hacking me off
I can see the sides one are ok but it’s the one near the gearstick I can see the clio but what does it clip into? The carpet? Or something else? Thanks
There’s a black square clip that mounts to the floor near at the front of the gear stick. I’ll grab a pic of the bracket once I’m home as I’ve got a spare one kicking about.
ive just stuck a bit of Velcro on it and it’s spot on.
This is the white plastic female clip that bolts to the floor. Should be at the base of the gear stick, sort of inline with the front of the front seats.
This is the male connecter that is on the inside of the gearstick/lower center console plastic. It should just slot right in and secure the plastic.
This is a spare female connecter bracket/mount that goes under the carpet. It’s different to the plastic one in the first pic but came of a breaker 182. A bit of Velcro on it and the clip inside the plastic gearstick surround and it’ll be grand.
