172s start off lower so thats why 40mm is the same as a 60mm drop on non 2.0. Heres my 1.4 on 40mm apex springs and 15s

this is a tidy motor it is the same model as mine does the phase 2 bumper & doorstrips fit easily??it looks much better..

Shocks don't lower the car, these were just stiffer. And a bargain. It would be fine on Renault shocks too.
