lowering 172

hi, at the point of getting some new alloys for my 172 , i wouldnt mind 17s but i also want 2 lower it but i dnt want any scrubbing, any one tried this ???

If you get the right offset and with its not an issue.

17's are for show though.

Why not 15's tryes are cheaper and ride softer.

Its the not the size of alloy its the total size of the tyre which restricts lowering realy.
