lowering 40mm

my car luks like the clio equivilant of the fusion so gona lower it. need ow priced springs, can u please tell me how much and where if they are bout £40 or so

You have 4 springs, Spring kits for the Mk2 Clio are usuall about £85 - £90 brand new...

Someone is selling some -60mm springs tho in the For Sale forum, dunno if theyd fit!

On the clios like the rts and 1.2 16vs (all the less sporty models) if you lower them over 40mm should you get new shocks, or does it not really matter that they will go to nothing. personally i dont giva sh*t about rideability performance handling, but if u dont uprate the shocks will it cause major hassle?

Im going to get spaxs kit, which have springs and dampers, it lowers the car -35mm.
