lowering a 172?

i have found some spax 60mm lowering springs and the shop says that they will fit my 172 i was just wandering if it is safe to do so and will it cause problems and what type ie drive shafts ect any help would be much appreciated

they don't make them for 172's and even if they did it would handle like the titanic

60mm on an RS sounds fishy to me. Most only ever went as low as 40mm possibly 50mm at a push but those sound like they are for non Sport Clio's to me. Either way I wouldn't put 60mm springs on for numerous reasons.

can anyone recommend the jamex 35mm springs?

Just get Eibach Pros or Sportline , tried and tested on all makes of car, never a bad word against them.
