Lowering advice

I have a set of -40mm springs waiting to go on my car. Pics here... http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=121672

Was just seeking advice whether its a good idea to fit the springs without uprating the shocks? And to see if anyone has had any bad experiences with fitting just springs?

Im sure it will make the car look a whole lot better but don't want to do it if it will cause me problems in the long run!

Go 4 it, itl be fine, ive got 40mm Apex n my dampers are ok. I know people with 60mm springs on standard shocks n theyve bin ok 2!
