lowering advice

i lowerd my car 2day but its nocking from the drivers side

the only thing i can see is that the very top of the strut (that is under the bonnet) is sat a little higher at the top than the other 1 but its as tight as we can get it

any ideas wot it can be

and is it safe to drive

did you reassemble the top mounts correctly?

yer as it can only go in one way cos f the baring

thats the first thing we tried

how did you tighten the top mounts?

with a widy gun

we couldnt tightin them up any more by hand

Ouch, no no to the impact gun!

you should ONLY tighten them by hand, you do them up until you feel a resistance

£1 says the spring has popped out of the top plate, did you hear a "TWANG" when doing up the top mount?
