LOWERING BY 60MM (HELP!!)



hi there, i got 60mm springs yesterday, wanna fit them asap really, but i hear its not as easy as that im gettin all sorts of information:S and i dno what to do now. . .so i thought id come home and ask lol:)
1)do i need shock absorbers?? yes or no??
2)i hear they will be fine without and i hear they will be better with them??
3)does a mk2 ph2 have liquid or gas shocks??
4)is it true that letting out the liquid (if they are)will lower the car??
5)can the springs pop out if i lower it without shocks??
6)can the orginal shocks burst??

7)is it just better to get a full kit??
8) any reccomendations??

5)can the springs pop out if i lower it without shocks?? you have to have shocks end of

where can i get the uprated shocks from?? and roughly how much should i b spending?? anyone on here that can help??

hmm well dont no the answers to all off them but uprated shocks and springs would be better for your car but better than that would be coilovers, your talkin atleast £400quid then tho so depends on how much u want to spend really.
just putting lowering springs on your car is fine but you end up with problems later on down the line as you will need to replace shocks
but you cant win as which ever way you lower your car you always end up putting more presure on other parts of the car like ball joints
if you want to lower a car properly u need to start changing the bushes to poly ones and all sorts lol :) (i dont no every thing but theres abit off info for ya )

gd greif, really is easier said than done. . .i knew coilovers would get involved lol. . .o well cant cut any corners. . .well il exchange the springs and begin sumwhere else, when i got more cash think il just get it done properly, cos im thinkin that with all the problems which might come up, getting that sorted out would b da price of coilovers. . .true?
