Lowering car Help

want to lower my car... i want it to look nice yet still practicle - speed bumps, driveways etc...

been looking at some 35mm droped cars but it doesnt seem to look lowered a great deal,

i was thinking maybe 40mm only it doesnt seem like alot more, but looks better on a few pictures ive seen. but im having trouble finding 40mm kits usualy 35mm 55mm or 60mm

i would rather get the kit - shocks and springs as i dont want to do a bodge job and end up messing up my shocks

also couple of you on here say u prefer 16" wheels, just wondering what would look better droped on 17's and 16's

just wondering if anyone could help

i had my 1.6 lowered 35mm just on springs on 16's - car looked a lot lower than standard

I've lowered mine 35mm on 17s its mint ova speed bumps ect looks r8 and handles like a dream

60mm isnt impracticle at all. Ive never had scrapping on speed bumps or in multi story car parks and mines -60mm on 16's

Looks very smart that mate, the rear lights are too dark imo. could do em with a tiny bit lighter and itll look spot on that, i take it ur avin the windows tinted? seein as u must be going for the "gangster" look

60mm is fine my old clio was 60mm for ages on standard wheels and never had 1 single problem.

i'd go for 40mm drop. theres some kits on k-tec. they should have the ones u want

Iv got 60mm shocks and springs on 16" alloys and its fine apart from the fact I want it lower...might change my rear shocks back to my standard ones with the 60mm springs.
