Lowering drivers seat mod

Just a quick question regarding lowering the drivers seat.

what tools do I need? Front Axel stands, Socket set?
Does anything that I take out need replacing? Any washers etc?
Do I need to take all 4 out or just the front two?

Any help would be much appreiciated.
