Lowering - Insurance

Im having my car lowered tomorrow.



Will this affect my insurance amount???

Do i have to let them know before or after?

it will affect it yes, but how much depends on company/policy etc. I got quotes from Admiral and lowering mine -40mm added £5 on to the policy! tell them before, otherwise when you drive from garage you are in effect uninsured mate!

Phone up the insurance company before you put the springs on.

Cheers m8, im with renault insurance still, first year was free. Sticked with them because they were the cheapest suprisingly.

Anyone elses been affected?

W*nkers at Renault say I cant get it lowered on my insurance, wont let me add it.

Dont know what to do now?!?
