Lowering my 1.2 16v

  Mk.2 Renault Clio 2002
Im pretty new to all this and this is my first car, ive had a look around and done some basic mods to my clio, such as new alloys, new rear lights, side repeaters etc. and lowering it looks one of the best things to do next :). i was just wondering if there is anyone that could tell me exactly what it involves? i know the basics is the springs but would it involve buying anything else or getting it re-configured in any way after its been lowered? would much appreciate someone giving me a run-down :)

thanks,

Luke

depends how low your going/ how low u want to go, if your going more than 60mm you will more than likely need dampers, imo you should save and get coilovers way better than springs and you can go crazy lows :)

Save for coilovers.
You can pick up a set for as little as £150-£180, they're far far better than springs from experience.

Get the tracking done too, once it's lowered.

coilovers are you get the springs dampers and adjusters, so you can set the car to whatever height you want instead of being stuck at one height ;)
