Lowering my car... Help

  Clio gt 2009/10
So I'm looking in to lowering my car as I have a massive gap.

Currently looking at eibach 30mm all round. I emailed the seller to clarify they would fit my car. He said they would fit but as it's a GT the lowering amount would be reduced. May only just lower by 20mm. Has anybody done this on a clio gt 2009/10 before.

If so how low did you go?
Did it reduce the lowering amount?

Hope you can help. Thanks

This is a similar issue with the 182. With cup pack it sits 20mm lower as standard so 30mm lowering springs only make 10mm difference. 20mm would make a difference though.

Yh I did think but didn't want to risk it and then be like oh :/

Would it be worth going 35mm/40mm instead to gain the 30mm if it works like that?
