lowering my clio

Hi guys I am just new to this site, I have recently bought a clio 1.6 16v 2004 as i couldnt get insured on the sport yet! I desperatly want to lower it! can any1 give me information on this, I am looking to lower it 60mm. I hav contacted halfords and they say i need lowering springs and dampers as a package for around £400! Then the fitting price on top of tht! do i realy need the dampers and if so where is the best/cheapest place to get the springs?

dont use halfrauds, try europarts if anything although
i got mine from topgear st-albans, a pi suspention kit ultra lo 60mm normally £360 but i
got mine for £260. cos im soooooooo cool
