Lowering springs 0best combo

  172
Hi i'm looking to lower my car but also retain the great handling on my 172. Heard alot about Eibach but can't find them for the 172 only the 1.2's etc.

I wan't a drop of around 40mm aswell (something noticable not 15etc) So what do you suggest?

I have about £150 to spend, I was going to get the GAZ coilovers in the forsale section but searched too many bad things on them :(

So what do you reckon chaps?

thanks,

£134.54 delivered.

Mine on Apex -40's. Harsh ride and the rear coils actually rubbed each other.

With Sportlines fitted that day. Ride as good as standard if not better and handling as good as the Apex if not better on rough surfaces.

The Sportlines are quoted at 35mm all round IIRC. I was suprised at how low mine went on the front but was initially disappointed with the rear. It's much better now though.

That looks like the one you need son.

So should I get sportline or pro?

It says on that site that the sportline lowers 45mm front and 30mm rear?

Whereas the pro lowers 30mm all round.

Sportlines are as above mate. Pro's will hardly lower at all but will give a better ride and handling. I'd go for sportlines.
