lowering/wheel question

hi all,

ive got a 2002 dynamique and am looking to get some 16" speedline turninis for it, would i need to lower it at all? i know most people would say i should go for 17s and lower but dont really want to lower it, just want to get the wheels.. so would 16s be ok?

It depends on what you want it to look like really you dont have to lower it

its a matter of personal opinion

No pics at the mo, ill only get them done when its lowered though.

I personally think youll need to get it lowered, although the car looks a bit better it looks unfinished.

Ive got mk2 172 alloys. Big improvement in looks. Soon to be lowered 50mm with Eibach sportline springs. When I can be arsed fitting them.

Im getting the spax kit for £250 which i think is great VFM as its springs and dampers so should get nice handling. Basically it will mean the car is as low as a standard 17 Cup, maybe a few mms more.

I was always going to change the suspension purely as i think the standard ride quality is pathetic so if im going to have a hard ride i want it to handle well at least!
