Lowest 172!

there is 15mm (or so) difference between a standard 172 and a standard 1.2, so with freds being lowered somewhere in the regionof 110mm, that equates to about 95mm on a 172

I thought it was 100mm springs but its actually lowered 90mm on his as it was too much of a compromise, so hes going against his lowering ethics!

My 172 was about -100mm last Xmas when I had all the skis, boots and clothing in it on the way to the airport. Other than that I think most 172s are lowered 30 or 40mm.

As far as I know -40mm is as low as you can go without Hydrolics. Even most of the coilovers ive seen are adjustable at the front to about 40mm and 30mm at the rear. It wont take too long for them to come out though.... and totally ruin the handling!!!

APEX do -40mm springs for 1 172/Cup. I have seen them on a Cup at donny. Looked quite good!!

my coilovers are adjustable down to -75mm at the front and -55 on the rear but with it set just over -40mm at the front my 17s are rubbing like fook :(
