Racing Blue 182
I have been on here a while now and thought it was about time I shared the progress of my RB 182!
I absolutely love the thing, its awesome! It is the third car I have owned, I have had an '02 Peugeot 106 1.1 and a ' 51 clio 1.2, so its been a big jump from there and being 19 it is brilliant to have a bit of fun!
I bought it back in April, 72,000 miles on the clock, cambelt etc. done (don't know when, Dad looked at the history ). It was exactly what I was looking for! Didn't know much about them but after looking for a while I knew what I wanted. I would have preferred a FF but that is something I could work towards
So, this is how i bought it, completely standard (althought my mechanic friend seems to think it has an aftermarket exhaust but I can't tell)
The first thing I did to it (which I can't really class as a mod) is the compulsory CS.net sticker Which can be seen in this pic after a quick wash!

Then came the Skoda Fabia splitter, bought off eBay for like £12, bargain! Which made the front a little lower, which I nearly found out the hard way!

Ignore the stickers, thought they were cool at the time but now thinking of getting rid!
Next came an alcantara interior, courtesy of Sir_Dave's awesome old Trophy before he sold it! This included Alcantara Dash Trims, A Pillar Covers, Handbrake Gaiter and Gear Stick Gaiter. I haven't got a pic in my car unfortunately yet but will get one soon.
After a while of nothing, I then managed to source a bargain cup spoiler for £20!! Woop! My mate then sprayed it for me and then helped me fit it

I love the cup spoilers, really finishes the back end off! The question is, if I get a genuine Renault front splitter, does it class as a FF now?
Finally, I have recently bought some Renault Turinis for a nice sum of £150. Need a refurb so in the process of deciding whether to go for anthracite (like my 182 cup wheels now), trophy anthracite (don't know if theres a difference), or white? Any help for me to decide would be greatly appreciated!
Plans for the future:
- Yozza, Yozza, Yozza! - Want one so bad! But can't find any anywhere! Being on apprenticeship wage also means I can't afford to buy a new one
- Coilovers - Don't know which sort yet, looking for stance rather than handling as it is a daily not a track car
- Breathing mods (I think thats what they are called, probably not ) - I have a mate that specialises in gas flowing etc. who can sort out my inlets etc. to hopefully slightly increase performance (as you can tell I know nothing about it!)
- Remap of some description, I'm a bit of a chav at times so tempted by pops and bangs!!
Thanks for reading! Hope I didn't bore you!
