Lumpy acceleration -16v

  Clio Mk1 Hybrid

I filled my car up last night, usual garage, usual grade of fuel.

On my way into work this morning, the car was accelerating a bit lumpy (for want of a better word!), it felt as if there was fuel starvation.

The car has not done this before and I am thinking that it may be a bit of bad fuel.

Is it worth using some of that fuel additive stuff to see if that cures it? If so, what would be best?

Or any ideas on what else it could be?

Thanks

James

if you ran it really low before filling it up might just be a bit of crud from the tank. give it a bit of stick and see if it clears it.

It might have been fairly low, cant really tell, the fuel guage is not very accurate!

Ill try giving it some stick on the way home, if I can find a long enough gap in the traffic.
