lumpy idle

so yesterday i when and got the tappets set on my 1.4 clio and ive notice the car is really jumpy on idle itl shoot up to 1000 rpm then drop to 500 then in between 500 and 1000 the below 500 nearly stalling the car any ideas ?

comon theres bound to be some genious on here who knows my what my issue is
