Lumpy/rough sounding idle on 172 cup?

Went to look at a Clio Cup 172 Tuesday. When the engine started it sounded rough and a bit lumpy. Is this normal for Clios? Just wondered for piece of mind

If it was started from cold then yes they often idle a touch rough and are a bit hesitant when driving at first.Should sort itself out once it starts to warm up though,if it doesn't or it idles like an absolute pig then you have an problem.

yeah it was just a little rough. When driven it was nice! Just wondered if it was an RS 172 Cup thing. Thanks for your post

Mine drives like a bag of balls for the first few minutes, but idles perfectly from stone cold
