Lumpy tickover/induction damper

So have done my reading on here, tried replacing coil pack, leads and plugs with the proper ones- still have slight misfire on idle, map sensor working ok, got a basic one reader that detected a misfire on cylinder 2 so replaced the injector.
Still idling rough/lumpy. Took it to an ecu specialist and the only fault code coming up was DF308 changeover valve induction damper. I am taking this to mean the acoustic valve? Standard airbox has been removed but think the vslve is still there below the n/s headlight as the cold feed pipe still present. Engine idles rough and fuel consumption is rubbish so plan to remove it and plug up the hose as i hear if thats not done can cause idling problems? After that I'm looking at the belts needing done which I'm hoping I won't need to do!
Anyone?

Find a proper ecu specialist who can read live data.

My old lambda sensor made mine run terrible and fuel consumption was way down

He just does the Ecu reading apparently.
Recommended by my regular garage who I do trust. Didn't charge much either but then he just spent about 30 min checking and deleting old codes, then running the engine to check live ones.
Take your point on board though.. mibbe need to go see a specialist!
