Didn't realise How many pics I took. Grab a cuppa
With the weather being nice today I decided to try out some new products I bought and aquired.
Moderately dirty girls car:
Mostly just stubborn dried in dirt
After a quick pressure wash I decided to give @Auto Finesse citrus power another review.
Although this is a brilliant product, it performed how I expected on this amount of dirt:
left it for a bit to dwell before pressure washing off, it removed what I expected (everything but the stubborn bits) so I give the front end another hit. It did make the stubborn bits on the front a bit more workable
Pressure washed off leaving
leaving a nice base for auto finesse lather to remove, what an awesome, lubey, foamy shampoo! The only think I don't like is the smell of this.
Left the suds on while I tried wonder wheels hot wheels, cheap iron x for sale in local shops. Sounded good:
Must say, say, from the quick go I had of it, I'm unimpressed. Longer dwelling time, which I can see being a problem in the summer. It's purple already so it's harder to see working. It doesn't remove as much as iron x. But I may be judging it early. Next full detail I do I'll test it properly against iron x... Because I have a litre and a half of this stuff
Pressure washed the lather off which showed the spirit and orange crush are still going strong
Gave the whole car a quick spritz of auto finesse finale to aid in drying... First time I've done this so can't comment on whether it worked or not
Keeping in with may 'passenger side - auto finesse, drivers side competition' theme, after drying I applied finale on top of spirit and sonax bsd, cheers @Jay.S for this sample on top of orange crush
Bsd is thicker than finale, I think I prefer bsd just for the consistency. I'll see what the longevity is like on them to decide for deflate which I prefer.
Applied auto finesse tough coat to the wheels, can't help but think this smells and feels like autoglym extra gloss protection.
Next, top up on the plastics with auto finesse revive
couple of quick afters before it got too dark
bsd beading
Excuse the abrupt ending. Photobucket is throwing a paddy
