That's me, what time did you set out? We got absolutely soaked on the climb, set out about 10.30 and had about 2 hrs of torrential rain, then the sun came out near the top, mint!!

My mum & sis have always wanted to do the climb so my g'friend & I guided them up (they we're the RAV parked next to mine 'BHK'), took us about 5 hrs round trip (up P.Y.G, spot of lunch at the summit, then down miners), which, given the conditions was a mega effort for a first timer!!!

Camped out that eve as well at Llan Gwynant just down the way from Pen Y Pas carpark, was a mint weekend in all!! Just love the roads round there, proper fun!

I remember seeing your mota, don't see many 'purple' escort estates on the road these days lol!!

Ta for the 'spot' hahah.

We started the climb at 2pm after driving through the torrential rain! Our whole climb was in complete sunshine, couldn't have asked for better tbh! :approve: went up the Minors Track and came down the Pyg Track.

If you came down the Minors, we would have passed eachother near the bottom...

here's me, if you remember? lol

Wow, you got a mega view from the top!!

Here's a pic of sis, mum & me on the way up. Reckon you would of passed us about the time my ma fell over. Of all the places this was on about the flatest part of the Miner track, just past the climb down to the lake. Luckily was just a cut knee and a possible fractured thumb.

Haha unbelievable, yea I thought I recognised you, and timing wise that added up. I would of had my back to you with my bright yellow camelbak bag on. Thanks for the offer of help by the way, it's warming to know there are people like you who are more than willing to help, many would walk on by :star:

Luckily mum & sis are both nurses, so they were well equiped for such a situation! We had to laugh cos it was the most stupid place to fall over. Think mum had been looking back at the summit she'd just conquered, only to trip on a pebble

Small world indeed!!!!
