Sparkly silver 18's will be back on in the spring; only got these on because they're fitted with winter tyres.
Not a fan of the colour either to be honest, but they were cheap.

my first car at 17, only car I've had that I truly miss. They're the only pics I have of it anymore, had the proper 4 spoke RS wheels on after I'd took the 7 spokes off. Also got rid of the 'Motorsport' sticker from the side.

was planning to fit a 1780x/flow but it sadly hit a kerb and it got a bit bent

Mine was white, with red decals and interior. Produced only in 1981, the forerunner to the better known XR2. Loved it! Rare as hens teeth now though.

It was his nans, she left it to him in her will. He hasn't sent the V5 off so its still 1 owner from new! lol. I reckon it will be worth a fair old whack when its finished.

Hey no problem.. They were only on a 'W' or 'X' to the best of my knowledge. What was the original colour comb of your friends Nan's car? Didnt you mention this a while ago on here..? Fully restored, probably £6k - £8k! What a great thing to be left!

Regarding the fabric, which is notoriously susceptible to rotting in the sunlight.. Try the Ford RS Owners Club, or I believe there's a Fiesta Super Sport Register (dont hold me to that though)

It looked the same as yours mate. Not now though, its in primer and a bare shell! lol.

James are you sure yours was a supersport? Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the seats were a tartan style trim. I don't mean any offence but yours looks nothing like a proper supersport. Or had somebody just butchered it all?

I think it was butchered before I had it, it had recaros in it


Actually, thinking about it, it may of been a 1300S not a supersport

Still nice though, I started with a 1.3 Ghia then upgraded to an XR2. Ghia got written off, had newspaper holding it together then the XR got nicked.

Yeah it was in good nick really aswell for its age. Was always tinkering with it though, learnt a lot from that car. Defo be a mk1 in my lottery win garage
