just heard that these new camera s come in to operation from tommorrow from j14 to j 18 of the m4 so beware of these to save ur self 3 points i dont think there the yellow gatso s either some new form of camera ? maybe the ones that measure the distance between junctions etc ???

Well I heard about these type of cams that catch you speeding, not by flashing you...

Example - You pass cam A, and then say 500 metres you pass cam B and if you are going over the limit, then a computer will work it out by how long it took you to get from cam A, to pass cam B. If you were speeding, then you will be issued with a ticket.

Read up on that in the paper last week

sounds like the ones that the bloke on talksport was going on about dangerous eh i mean motoways are the safest roads to drive unless ur next to an artic doing 70+ in the rain

Im just dusting off the papercopy of my license, i cant be expected to do sub 80mph. lol

To make it worse, just as you get to the tolls on the otherside of the bridge into Taffland they have a new 50mph section and they stick a Scamera van that gets you the moment you enter the section with little time to slowdown.

Yes the mobile cameras are lame, but people should make every effort not to get nicked by them as this will generate revenue and encourage their deployment on every M road/dual carriageway!
