Magnecor 85 mm red- owner opinions

Instead of buying very expensive std leads (I just hate the idea of paying renault about 120 for some god damn cables) I was thinking about the magnecor red ones.
heard people say that magnecor (don't know if they were talking about the red or blue ones) don't fit the coil pack as good and don't fill the plug holes as the std ones
So would be helpful to hear some thoughts on the red ones (fitment wise mainly) as the material quality seems to be good
cheers!

I would like to know about the above also.
Been told to stick with Renault OE ones tho.

I've had the Magnecor red for years. They don't seal the spark plug hole as well as the std ones.

Only had a problem once, I was driving through massive puddles to entertain the kids and managed to fill one of the plug holes with water and funnily enough got a missfire. So totally my own fault but probably wouldn't have happened with the Renault ones.

Not had any problems with the coil pack.

Ive got these fitted with the RS2 manifold, havent had any problems with them at all.

But as above, they dont sit perfect in the holes and just need to try not to get water in the holes, apart from that been spot on!

Same as above post, they dont cover plug holes very well. I have had no problems at all with them and there very well made.

sealing the plug holes around the leads with hi temp silicone will be ok as preventing moisture from entering? the silicone will peel away if needed so is this wise? wanna do this when the magnecor reds will arrive

already ordered the mags, add some 20-30 quid to the 75 and you get the price for shipping the std ones from wests to Romania.. paid around 95 for the magnecors

Oh well. 75 pounds was delivered to Belgium.

When installing the leads, be careful not to clamp them under the plenum which destroys them (as I have), make sure they come out from the gap

they're cheaper in the UK for sure but that much cheaper? unfair if it's true..

looks like the demand for the red ones is low, blue ones were available straight away.
so it took some time for "julie" to make them ;)
at least I had no problems in these 2 months with the old ones
