Maintaining Alcantara

Car  Clio 182
Hi all, just bought my clio sport 182 and loving it. I can't stop cleaning it at the mo and was wondering if anyone knew of a product to clean and condition alcantara. Thanks.

do a search im sure there was a very detailed guide on here somewhere telling you about maintinance and cleaning!

Alcantara is an awkward material, goes with the territory of a "man made" suade, not a lot you can do with it!
I think its best to just keep it clean, as the dirt can work its way through the material, and that's when you can start getting cracks etc
As with most things, AutoGlym is probably a good place to start, i'm sure they do some shampooo and cleaning gear that you can use on Alcantara... possibly even something to protect it etc...

Thanks, I'll keep searching and until i find something I guess a damp cloth will have to do. It's a bit annoying though coz I want to clean the leather part of the seats but the back of the leather cleaner says 'do not use on Alcantara'. Thanks for the replies though.

Searching for what ? there are stain removal guides in the manufacturers website above. A wipe down with a weak mix of Autoglym Interior Cleaner and water ill be fine on light dirt if need be.

Normal leather stuff is fine on the leather parts (well plastic to be technical!) just keep it off the Alcantara.

My reach is long, just hold a pint glass out the window, I'll send some over.
