Maintaining Coilovers?

Had some H&R Monotube coilovers fitted about 10,000 miles ago. I wondered if, apart from yearly allignments, there was anything I should check on, or have done to them...?

Do they even need maintaining? Its only a road car.

Yes they do. Clean them right up and make sure the collars and adjusters move, then lube up the threads with copper slip/grease etc to protect them from the elements.
Clean up and relubricate any ball joints in top mounts if yours have them.
