Make My Clio Quieter

Ive a 1.2 8v 52 plate clio... Its quiet noisey from the outside so i was wondering what i can do to make it shhh a little bit.

Ive order under bonnet sound proofing but am wondering what else i can do. Does a diffrent belt make a diffrence to noise (Ie top end of the market)?

just a general observation when i was standing outside my car and my mum was driving it, its quite loud. Just sound proofing it is then.

I know but i dont like attention brought to me when in the car and it does seam noisey. but it may well just be cause theres no sound proofing but ill find out when i fit it in.
