making a 182 exhaust

  BG 182
got a donar 182 exhaust for my 1.2 16v, i was thinking of cutting the tips off and with a bit of pipe work and welding connecting both the tips to my original exhaust much like the one you can buy from K Tech. just wondering has anyone attempted it or done it before?

cheers guys

The biggest issue is the spare wheel well (182s dont have them). Some places have done them, but you would need to put pipework around spare wheel well.

Then explain it when selling...

Lol, wasnt recomending it as going to be good for residuals, was just saying its an option, personally I think the best looking exhaust on a clio is a 172 one, ie nothing you can see, but im not 18 of course, lol

Agreed....loved the cup looking stealth at rear until flooring it...182 is a bit louder...but with right tailpipes looks awesome. If it were me, I'd stay stealth as we saw a 172cup in Chester which looked wierd with its rear exhausts...ita personal taste, but prefer design of exhausts to look as standard as possible (ie twin pipes for 182...stealth otherwise for non 182s) look if I'm honest
