i have some bitmap images whichar 2mb...

can i changfe them to be smaller? can i do this by opening them in paint and saving them as jpeg?

ideally i would like them circa 150kb but at least smaller than they are presently!

Thing is this resizes the picture and doesn't keep the same size. Saving it as a jpeg keeps the dimensions but compresses it (file size).

Alternatively look into a piece of software called Irfanview. Its the dogs danglies.

I've used GIMP at work (and IrfanView), have you got a link for GIMP as I've tried finding it before but couldn't see it.
