MAKING SUB BOX,IS IT HARD TO DO

what do i need? decent screws! mdf! what thickness????? carpet? terminals on side of box,where do i purchase them from????make a hole for a port? how big should the port be????

Cardboard box templates - cut to size, lay out flat and transfer to MDF.

Make sure that after youve glued your box and let it dry - run some silicon sealer from the inside on all the joins. Then carpet it.

If i was doing it: Best to make a false floor to sink your amp in flush, shouldnt be hard. Bolt the false floor down to the car - fix your bass box to the false floor and hey presto.
 


making your own box is very simple

internal dimensions divided by 2768 (iirc) gives you the volume in litres

not rocket science, and if you can use a jigsaw, then you can make an enclosure perfect for your sub
