malware virus's worms ect

hi guys im sure we all come across them, i know i should have a decent firewall but i havent, i keep getting warnings up in my tool bar about the above^^^^^^^^ anyone got any links to good software that is free??

Certainly do, if you want a free firewall that works well go to
www.zonelabs.com and download zone alarm

for spyware etc try either Spybot Search & Destroy or ad-aware again both free

For viruses AVG do a free version of their anti-virus and its really good, so good in fact that when my Norton AV's come up for renewal they are getting the boot.

What is generating the warnings? XP Security Centre or some little app telling you that there are actual issues? Sounds a bit dodge. Is it telling you you need some specific patch or software?

Yes it keep popping up with anti virus spyware download site's, which i know are rubbish.

i also have a warning triangle in my toolbar saying about a worm also a blue circle with a yellow tick in it which keeps saying i am infected.

and my homepage has a warning w32.myzor.FK@yf pop up everytime i open it.

Download the trial version of NOD32, it will totally dominate. NOD32 is the b****cks. It'll lay the smack down on any virus you might have. Or you could try Norton, but TBH you're better of with a few viris' than that.
