manifold to cat joint cups rotten! Urgent!

It seems that I cant get the old cups out of the downpipe to replace them with new ones on the flange. Their rusty as hell and I cant get them out!. its the cups which the new spring loaded bolts go through.

Anyone give me any tips?.

Mine were the same mate just prised them
out with an old screwdriver.

I've done it now. Cut through it with a junior hacksaw where there is a gap in the flange and it tapped out easy. =) thanks for the help.
