if im honest mate i can imagine that being some stupidly over expensive job. for example fog lights on my 1.2 clio! renault wanted to charge me 150 quid for parts and trhen 250 pound to fit it. no worth it mate if im honest/

Life is expensive if you walk into a dealership with your tail between your legs for all your automotive needs.

Foglights can be had for <£50 on ebay I assume, probably including the stalk with the switch. Then Spend some time and work it out. Job done.

As for the sunroof, never looked into it myself. remove your roof lining, and sunroof. Have sheet steel welded in, then smoothed and sprayed, then a sport lining to replace it with? Sounds a winner to me.
Parts are probably going to be fairly troublesome to source for an auto conversion.

would much rather put that money towards a 182/197 and the time towards something more useful than two lights

good point the only time i ever use my chav lights (front fog) is when i'm driving down realy small country lanes when its very dark, because they light up more to the side so you can see standing water, mud, horse s**t, potholes etc. Never used them any other time. Just there for looks imo, oh and for idiots to blind you with.

  Clio mk1 rally :P
this can be done...
i did it the other day :)
got motor and the plate of metal the motor bolts onto..
and the switch.
take of the plate on the manual sunroof..
bolt on auto plate ..(i had to cut the two bits of metal sticking out on each side of the plate).

then run some wires.. to a relay and fuse..
and all done :p
i love my electric sunroof!!!
all i got to do now is stop the leak :S
