Hola,
Decided to go for it, so I have items in my possession for POWER! So I need someone to map it.

Mind im in Scotland.

Anyone you can recommend?

What kind of 'items'?

As Kyle said, I'd make the trip to Paul, well worth it. Or AndyRG depending what side of Scotland you are on!

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
TBS will be next options. But spent a whack on those bits so far.

Would you consider mapping it on standard ecu?
its not really a case of considering it, the hardware to do it is quite specific.the stock ECU is a very simple and quite crude piece of kit. Does the job just about. I'd not start tuning a mk1 on the stock ECU anymore, emulators and burning chips is not the fun it was 10 years ago. I've not even switched my emulator on in 4 years

Its a bit of a cheat, but a piggyback ECU like an smt6, unichip etc wouldn't be a bad option

Depends what you get. I've used a few piggyback systems in the past, if you can get a wiring schematic they're usually simply from then on. They're cack on 172s but a mk1 ECU is simple enough not to get confused

Would a Canams not do the Job Danny
Canems would be ideal if a full standalone is the way to go. Any further plans with it like adding ITBs? Would be a nice way to do it bit by bit. My cammed mk1 was a little screamer on 213s and omex

I have 270s Williams spec for it. Further plans itbs or a bike tb conversion. It is bit by bit as I want this for a few track days.

So is worth going full ecu eventually but piggy back for now?

No point wasting money on a mickey mouse piggy back, and then have to be paying out again to do it properly later on.

You can get full standalone for 300 quid if you buy a microsquirt for example, why spend the same or more on piggy back?

For the cost of one it'd be worth going standalone unless you can get something dirt cheap. My mate bought a new arm fic for £100
