Mark 2 or 3?

After wrighting my Clio 2 Phase 2 off, which some of you may have seen through pointless threads such as my Silver Visions mod... etc etc.

To me it was special, my first car which i was proud of in a way - and it never let me down... Untill the air bags popped out.

Insurance have paid up already (Very Quick!)... Now, that do i buy?

Another Mark 2 or a Mark 3? For the money a Mk 3 seems like a great buy... and BioHazards does look amazing!

Any suggestions?

Will have to be small engines still mind it!

That is the main factor, i can afford a Mark 3 - which are on an 06/07 plate... Loving the 'credit crunch'!

Or just get another 05/55 Phase 2.

I would love a 1.2 TCE - but they seem rare as rocking horse s**t for this price range.

Get a mk2 if you want to go slow, A mk3 if you want to go slower, or a mk1 if you want to go faster. :D

I personally prefer the Mk2, but would have recommended the Mk3 if you hadn't mentioned that above!

I had one of the entry level (1.2?) Mk3's when my car was in at Reno. The car was so underpowered, it was dangerous. Playing with trucks and large vans on the motorway is hardly fun in rush-hour traffic. Totally gutless and a risk on the roads, imo.

Which engine was it, surely the TCE isn't that underpowered? Or was it the 1.2 16V.
