massive favour needed

REALLY REALLY need a massive favour off someone,

car failed its bloody MOT on its xenon, the fact it works fine untill you manually turn them off, then when you turn them back on only one works.. its a faulty balast but ill be dammed before i pay for a new one when mine is perfectly fine as i never turn it off and on again...

i just need to borrow one for one day off somone just to put it through its MOT

its a drivers side one...
anyone one that could lend me one would be a lifesaver, ill swap you over with mine for the 1 day.

Thats a rediculous reason to fail a car on an MOT. The lights work, correct??

Who the hell ever turns their lights on then off then back on again???
Was this Renault doing the MOT per chance?

yeah i know tell me about it, i tried explaining they were auto lights, when they come on they stay on untill its light again, and he was like no they have to be able to turn them off and on again...

whole new balast required £500 ish iirc... hense why im not getting one, just need to either borrow one xenon or 2 normal ones

Ahhh right get you. That is a pain in the arse, Xenons look the buisness but it seems they are a very expensive fix when it goes tits up.

cant afford to take it anywhere else tbh, onother £55 would make it a £110 MOT with no guarentee of it passing next time either
