Matched Inlets in the North East

  106GTI / NovaC20LET
Check first to see if you have the rs stamped lower inlet if so don't bother as they matched from the factory. Remove fuel rail guard(2 x 13 mm I think could be 10mm tho lol) and see if it has rs on it.

inlet manifold.jpgIt has RS on there if that's what you mean? so could I get the top inlet matched or is that not worth the pennies?

Ok maybe not a perfect match but hardly worth doing? Questionable if its even worth doing a non rs set imo, money would be better off spent elsewhere for the gains you will see.

I don't think there is any gains with the top inlet being done thb or ktec would be selling them

I have read many of places its the best gain for your money?

Lightweight 15'' wheels are the best bang for your buck closely followed by white line anti roll bar imo, both transform the car(best 2 mods I've done hands down). If its power gains you want get cams, itb's or forced induction. I'd be very surprised if you noticed the difference after matching some rs inlets, you might experience the placebo effect? Not to mention your either going to have to take the car off the road while its done or buy a new inlet? Is it really worth it?

What wheels are you using? The engines out atm any ways as bottom end went..! so thought while it's off might aswell do some tinkering, yea planning on running fast road cams too.

I run on 15" rota slipstreams, not the nicest looking wheels but at a tad over 5kg each well worth it! Could never drive a clio on 16s again would feel wrong. The acceleration and handling improvement they give you is night and day. Throw a arb in the mix and you will have a very nice handling clio and that's were these cars dominate on track/fast road. Power is very hard to come by and extremely expensive! Although I've just thrown nearly 2k at some itbs so im not one to talk lol.
