Matched inlets

  '92 172, Lotus Elise
Just wondering about inlet matching and what is done in the process..

what holes are enlared?

the ones on the inlet that interface with the cylinder head?
the ones on the inlet that interface with the plenum
the ones on the plenum that interface with the inlet?

is the entire inlet tract enlarged on the inlet manifold? or only about an inch in or something?

cheers :D

Do a search for the Jamsport matched inlet group buy - loads of info in there.

IIRC the lower inlet is opened up through out and matched to the head and the plenum. The plenum is also opened out a bit and matched to the lower inlet.
