Maxsport rb5 for summer use?

Since the clio will be running a reasonable amount of horsepower I have started to look for a more performance orientated tyre than my P-Zero neros for the summer.

These are road legal and astonisghingly cheap, but for fair weather use (I have a few sets of wheels and wouldn't be used often) these look ideal?

Whats the catch?

They are ok cheap competition remoulds, but they dont last very long.
They do grip well, ive got a set I use on my nova sometimes, sidewalls move around quite a bit though I think from how it drives.

I found them very expensive to use on the road, cause they lasted only a fraction as long as a 888 etc but cost over half as much.

In terms of just raw grip though, they are very good.

George did you want to get the colway ones I posted about and split them?

If I had some 15" wheels I would bite your arm off mate - but I currently only have 16" Cup wheels (admittedly I have a couple of sets)

Yes if you are talking about the normal GG 888s, these grip more like the SG ones, and also last 5 minutes like them, lol.
