Maybe a stupid question

Having just bought my 172, I notice that it runs slightly hot, ie slightly above the middle on the temp guage. Is this normal?

Mine does that too! just like 1mm above the middle!?

Yea, the resivoir is sitting just under max. Seems to just run a wee bit hot.
