I like the rear shots with the lights on but think you should have turned the LED side lights off for the front shots bud.

Nice car though, a grey 6 MPS went by me this morning on the A1, so much want.

Edit: really don't understand the plates. Full size plate with smaller letters? :headno: please explain lol.

Plates just take your eyes off the car. Terrible.

I think my only issue is the new MPS made this one look two hundred years old. The newer MPS still looks fresh today. Lovely looking thing!

Im no expert but those photos look great! Especially like the 8th one (mpsrear)....like the symetricalness of it if you know what I mean! Colours of the car park suit the car well too. Imo the car is fugly but thats another matter!

The new MPS is an acquired taste. Bonnet vents and wacky wheels.

It's standard mate, only thing he's done is retro fit cruise. It's good enough as it is but now he feels it needs a bit more power so he's started making a list.

Never really looked into the MPS, what is the performance like on these.

Out of interest, how did he know about the boost leak, how did you test for it and how did you fix it? Presume smoke test and new hoses for the latter two points? Interested... well, you can imagine why, since the Panzer is boosted lol!

If you're feeling 'flush' snap on do a leak detector, can't say I've used one but a few specialists use them.

It started feeling a bit low down on power and making a wooshing sound. I just took it all apart and see what was leaking, was just a small boost pipe so replaced it. Tiny split so took a whole to see. With yours you can put it on vagcom and see if it's running and holding correct boost etc

S3s do suffer leaks tbh usually intercooler joints and there will be a misting of oil around the joints.

Mine sounds like it's sucking in the earth and makes a pretty loud wooshing sound on boost. Not sure if it's an indication if it's leaking or not though. Might have to have a wee gander and check.

Yeah, think I've had one for a while. Need to get a new MAF AGAAIINN as well. flipping annoying. Tool is a pain as well, a torque screw with a bump in the middle.

They do make a fair bit of noise on boost, more like a sucking noise than a wooshing tbh.

fFind another screw to replace it mate, I love how those engines go through as many MAF sensor as air filters!

Yeah, guess it is more of a sucking noise. Definitely doesn't feel like it's down on power any who. Engine is pretty stone silent apart from boost till you hit about 6k

You definitely notice when it's down on power that's for sure haha an smax was keeping up with it on the way to the unit.

Boost leaks sound like a large hiss. The TT had one when I bought it but soon found it. Must be going well as I was pushing a E350 CDI down the road with ease last night up to silly speeds.

Lol he's gone through two shoguns so the new unit/ work wagon is a xsara diesel lol smells like old people.

I just love how you can potter about in it without anything untoward. Then start driving it hard and it becomes raw as f*ck. Cabins pretty nice too. Maybe not ST220 comfort but really like the styling. Seats are pretty comfy.

I did for the first week. Calmed down a bit now. I've noticed a massive difference in fuel consumption lol.

Give it a clean with electrical contact cleaner. Made mine run so much nicer.
