.MDF File ???

I have downloaded a .mdf file, now wish to run it and install what is inside it.

How do i go about doing this please??

A .mdf is a database file. Access should open it.

The extension .mdf can relate to a number of things.. Going on your "downloaded an mdf file" I'm guessing it's a CD or DVD image.

I need help please.....

I have downloaded alcohol 120%, I have the .mdf file, I need to run the 2.6gb file, I do not want to burn it to a cd/dvd.

I do not know how to do this someone please help and appreciate some people do not know everything there is to know about computers.....

u need to mount the image in the virtual drive through alcohol

The .mdf file is a disc image (DVD image in your case due to the size)

Certain programs such as Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools can "mount" the image which in effect tricks the PC into thinking it's a CD/DVD drive with a disc in it.
