Great day out and had some fun on the way back with the JDM boys

  Turbos.
Have to say.. outside of the JDM thread, EK9s just don't look all that. I think your Clio looks much better!

I have to disagree, that EK9 looks great! and my my my, Yaris going 300bhp! thats like nearly triple the standard bhp!

Neil's Yaris is an absolute beast! Still only a 1.5 too!

How does it compare to the other cars mate? Considering they weigh in at about 950kg standard they're quick as standard IMO.

We've not really went hell for leather against eachother but on the straights it pulls away from the clio, but show it a corner and the clio gets its own back :rasp:

great selection of cars! The Yaris might want a brake upgrade though! Love EK9's but those wheels do nothing for me.

Believe it or not the standard brakes on the yaris are awesome, really suprised me

Yeah but tbh he's missed a trick. As far as I know it's only got lowering springs and strut braces hasn't it?

Stick a set of decent coilovers, whiteline rear arb, c-one front arb, solid engine mounts, front and rear braces, decent width wheels (not the crappy 5.5" standards) a set of 3g discs, endless pads, braided lines and 5.1 fluid and it'll give you a run for your money! Mine, with the above mods plus other bits and bobs can near enough keep up with my mates 197.

Very underrated cars, but I couldn't spend the sort of money he's spent on his. Would rather have an Evo for it! lol

Oh it will be getting the suspension sorted eventually but when you've got £10k+ in a car you doubt about throwing another 3-4k into it just to make it handle

My clio is on coilovers and with whiteline rear ARB, theres nothing that i know of around my area that can keep up with it through the corners

I don't see any other cars, bar the '9.

More pictures please!

I will find out what forums he's on mate and hopefully grab a few more pics, it really is immaculate, me mate even has two spare seat bolster's for it that he bought direct from honda incase they ever sag

Anal doesnt come close to the way he treats it, its his baby

Currently running stage 3 cams and think it was mapped at 226bhp with good torque, not bad for a 1.6 ;)
