Hi all,

I've got a HD TV now and really want to play some HD content through it which I will download through legal channels honest.

Would a Mac Mini work as a Media Centre? Can I plug it straight into my telly and stream HD movies etc to it?

Cheers
Andy

In theory, yes. I had it set up with my PC hooked up to my TV, but now ive got my Ext HD plugged into my 360 and play it through that.

Much better. Got a proper remote, 5.1 sound and better picture, well it seems to be anyway.

Will work the same on a PS3, too. Although im not sure if that has 5.1 or not.

Id say get a 360 and use the Media Centre Extender on a PC or just bolt on an External hard drive with your content on.
