Megane 225 engine spec

hi all does anyone know the spec of the engine as in bore,compression ratio etc and was they the same in the velsatis ?

yes mate i know the block was the same just wondered if there where any difference in bore/stroke compression ratio etc?

bore and stroke is the same IIRC, compression ratio is lower on the vel

Thought it was higher comp with a lower pressure turbo on the 165 lump?

from memory the MRS is 9:1 and the vel satis is 8.2:1, i've got the info somewhere

Shows 9.5:1 on the stuff i've got here for the F4RT lump in them? Dated though so could be wrong.

Don't suppose you've got the later megane repair manuals that cover the RS and the 774 lump do you? (guess where i'm going )

lol haha, he'll be best off measuring those pistons properly, they were development engines remember
