megane wheels on 172mkII

The wheels that are mounted on the Megane II and Laguna I are

16"x6.5j ET49. Does anyone knows if that wheels fits on my Clio 172mkII

which has wheels in the size 15"x6.5j ET43. And which problems can I get

if I do fit them?? Have anyone tried this before??

The Mk2 172 wheels are 7x16 ET 48.5

6.5x16 ET49 would probably fit...but why would you want to fit them, as theyre narrorer!

The wheels you mean are the weels for the 2.0sport, or not? The sitepanals for the wheels on that type are wider than the normal 172MkII. Thats probably why the normal MkII has ET43 (Thats what the renault dealer told me). The wheels dont need wide for me. I want to lower my car a little bit (3cm) and with 45.000km a yaer I would like a little bit of comfort as well, That why I want that wheels, if they fit.
